We’ve run into a major roadblock on our plans for live streaming. The tech crew (mostly me) paid so much attention to the setup of the equipment and the steep learning curve of the two new systems, that we didn’t check our current upload speeds for our network connection. When I saw how terrible our two attempts were, I finally remembered to check the upload speed, and it is inadequate for what we need to successfully live stream.
We’ve placed an order with our ISP to boost the speed 20 fold, but they won’t be on site to make the upgrade until the 25th. We’re trying to have that installation expedited, but for now it appears that the live streaming on Facebook will be put off for a couple of weekends.
Current plans are to record the next two services and have them available online. We will also live stream using the mobile devices we’ve used in the past. Please bear with us as the tech crew learns these new systems. We believe you’re going to like the end results.
