On Sunday, Aug 23, Quizzing Returns!! This year: EXODUS!
During the Sunday morning services (which start at 10:30 am), children grades 1 – 6 will be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall after praise & worship. Students will be provided with a quiz book and the book of Exodus, which they will bring back with them to church each week. Students will sit at different tables by family (siblings together at one table, following C19 potocols) and the weekly lessons will be displayed on a large screen so we can all work together and follow in individual quiz books.
Quiz books are filled with puzzles, games, and stories children can do at home. Another great resource (especially if absent a week or more) is the website http://sconaz.org/childrens-bible-quiz-resources/.
The goal? Two part:
Part 1 — A fun way to learn Bible stories, memorize scripture and hide God’s Word in your heart.
Part 2 — Participate in Children’s Bible Quiz Meets with other children in West Texas. Hopefully, the first meet will be at our chuch on Sat, Oct 17.
